To provide the highest quality consulting, coupled with common-sense, custom-built, RWR tools, to improve RWR planning, conduct and quality control. 

 We are determined to provide solutions to simultaneously improve the quality and efficiency of RWR design and execution.

Our Vision

We envision a RWR landscape with a marked increase in standardized, transparent, and objective processes and practices that will benefit the entire RWR project life-cycle - from conceptualizaton and planing, through study conduct, quality control and dissemination.  

Our vision is fueled by a pursuit of positive change in RWR, where challenges become opportunities, and innovation is an expectation.  

Our Values

We abide by a “science first” mentality.   Our values are therefore grounded in bringing scientific integrity, quality, validity, and rigor to the process of coupling real-world data (RWD) with appropriate study design, methodology, computational analytics, and interpretation/analysis, to produce insightful and actionable real-world evidence (RWE).  

Delve-RW was founded in July 2023 by Dr. Gary Schneider, MSPH, ScD.   The initial focus was on providing general RWR consulting and project delivery services that were anchored in our belief that poor or incomplete planning and review of RWR protocols and SAPs can have wide-ranging and detrimental ramifications on RWR study conduct.   Within 3 months after Delve-RW was founded, a top-10 pharma organization who shared this belief contracted Delve-RW to conduct SAP reviews.  We were off to the races!

After conducting several of these reviews we realized several unmet needs that if addressed would provide both increased quality and efficiency to the entire RWR process.   This realization led to the conceptualization of a suite of RWR products that will compliment Delve-RW’s RWR consultancy offerings.   We are proud to have beta-versions of the first two products:

  1. A standardized RWR SAP Review process, and

  2. A standardized, and semi-automated approach for constructing RWR cohort assembly figures.

Dr. Gary Schneider, MSPH, ScD, provides Real-World Research (RWR) scientific and strategic senior leadership. He has 30-years of applied epidemiology and biostatistics experience, including over 20-years directly supporting pharmaceutical and medical device organizations with their RWR needs.

Gary was first introduced to RWR early in his career, while focusing on injury and occupational epidemiology for US Army.  He shifted to pharmacoepidemiology upon leaving the Army, and spent the following 15+ years advancing his RWR proficiency at consultancies and CRO’s.  Most recently, before forming Delve-RW, Gary served in Managing Director and VP roles in RWR branches of Medical Communications organizations. This combination experiences, spanning a diverse set of RWR applications, multiple clinical areas, a variety of study designs, and the opportunity to work with and manage a variety of RWR professionals, has provided Gary with a unique and comprehensive view of the potential uses (and misuses) of RWD and RWE.  

His scientific expertise, coupled with a strategic and collaborative mindset, business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit, enables Gary to offer a variety of RWR solutions to support today’s ever-changing healthcare delivery landscape.

Gary holds a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in biostatistics, and a Doctorate of Science (ScD) in epidemiology, both from the University of Massachusetts.
